Full-Stack Web Developer

Fully remote, part-time

Job description

We are actively searching for a Web Developer with proficiency in WooCommerce and php. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around overseeing our ecommerce platform’s technical aspects, ensuring the server’s health and integrating our ecommerce activities with our in-house software. We require a minimum of five to 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Roles and responsibilities

  1. Oversee the functionality, security, and efficiency of our WooCommerce platform.
  2. Perform routine server maintenance and monitor system performance.
  3. Ability to handle and troubleshoot chronic issues.
  4. Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans.
  5. Integrate WooCommerce with our in-house software applications.
  6. Be on-call for emergencies to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations.

Minimum qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study
  2. Five years of experience in a similar role, with a strong technical understanding and hands-on operational experience
  3. Proven experience with WooCommerce and server administration
  4. Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
  5. Detail-oriented approach to software development and to its integration with non-software company processes
  6. >Ability to prioritize across a variety tasks
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus qualifications

  1. Server maintenance skills (chron jobs, bash, mysql)
  2. Knowledge of Python
